Source IT Engage is a business communication, CRM, automation, and WhatsApp Business Platform integration solution designed for organizations that communicate with their customers using authorized business messaging channels.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect the following categories of information.
Account and Business Information
We may collect information such as:
Name, email address, business name, company name, telephone number, business address, job role, account preferences, workspace information, team membership, user permissions, authentication information, subscription information, and support communications.
Passwords are stored using secure password hashing mechanisms. We do not store plain-text account passwords.
WhatsApp Business and Meta Integration Information
When a business connects its WhatsApp Business Account through Source IT Engage, we may process information provided through Meta’s authorized APIs and Embedded Signup flow, including:
WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID), WhatsApp business phone-number ID, display phone number, verified business/display name, business account status, quality information when available, message-template information and approval status, webhook configuration/status information, Meta authorization information, and API access credentials or tokens required to operate the integration.
Access credentials and tokens used by Source IT Engage are handled server-side and are not intentionally exposed to end users through the browser.
Customer and CRM Information
Businesses using Source IT Engage may store or process customer and prospect information including:
Name, phone number, email address, company, tags, lead status, lead source, CRM pipeline stage, notes, follow-up information, conversation history, appointment information, and other business information entered by authorized users.
The business using Source IT Engage is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary lawful basis, notice, consent, or other authorization to collect and process its customers’ information.
WhatsApp Messages and Conversation Data
To provide WhatsApp messaging and Inbox functionality, we may process information related to messages sent and received through connected WhatsApp Business Accounts.
This may include:
Message content, message identifiers, sender and recipient information, timestamps, message type, template information, media metadata, attachments where applicable, message delivery information, and statuses such as sent, delivered, read, or failed.
This information is processed only as necessary to provide messaging, Inbox, CRM, automation, support, security, reporting, and related functionality requested by the business customer.
Webhook Information
Source IT Engage receives webhook events from Meta and other supported integrations.
Webhook information may include inbound-message notifications, message-status updates, account changes, template-status information, phone-number information, and related technical metadata.
Automation and AI Information
Where a customer uses automation or AI-assisted functionality, we may process workflow instructions, prompts, business knowledge, CRM information, conversation context, approved documents, FAQ information, and generated responses necessary to provide the requested functionality.
Businesses remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it in sensitive or regulated contexts.
Technical Information
We may automatically collect technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, access date and time, pages or application modules accessed, error logs, authentication logs, API logs, security events, and similar diagnostic information.
2. How We Use Information
We process information for legitimate business and service purposes, including to:
Provide and operate Source IT Solution websites and Source IT Engage; authenticate users and manage accounts; create and manage workspaces; connect authorized WhatsApp Business Accounts; send and receive WhatsApp Business messages; synchronize WhatsApp phone numbers and message templates; process webhook events and message-delivery statuses; operate team Inbox functionality; manage contacts, leads, CRM pipelines and follow-ups; support business automation and workflow execution; provide AI-assisted functionality where enabled; maintain service security; detect abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and technical problems; provide technical support; improve the platform; comply with applicable laws; and enforce our Terms and policies.
We do not use customer WhatsApp message content for unrelated advertising purposes.
3. Meta and WhatsApp Business Platform
Source IT Engage integrates with technologies and APIs provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and/or its affiliated companies, including the WhatsApp Business Platform.
Businesses may connect their WhatsApp Business Account using Meta’s authorized Embedded Signup or OAuth process.
Depending on the functionality authorized by a business, Source IT Engage may request permissions such as:
whatsapp_business_management – to access and manage authorized WhatsApp Business assets and message templates.
whatsapp_business_messaging – to send and receive messages through an authorized WhatsApp Business Account.
business_management – where required to access authorized business-level assets used as part of WhatsApp Business onboarding or management.
We access only the information and business assets necessary to provide the features authorized by the business.
4. Meta Authorization and Embedded Signup
Source IT Engage does not use Facebook Login as the authentication system for Source IT Engage user accounts.
Users authenticate to Source IT Engage using Source IT Engage’s own authentication system.
Meta’s authorized WhatsApp Embedded Signup and business authorization flow is used when an authorized business administrator connects a WhatsApp Business Account and business phone number to Source IT Engage.
This authorization is used only to obtain the permissions and business assets necessary to provide the requested WhatsApp Business Platform functionality.
Source IT Engage does not request unrelated consumer Facebook profile information such as friends lists, birthday, gender, posts, photos, or similar social-profile information.
Source IT Solution is a software and IT services business operated by Shri Ranjeetsinh Deelipsinh Ghorpade, registered as a Micro Enterprise under Udyam Registration. Source IT Engage is a software product of Source IT Solution.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell customer personal information.
Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers and subprocessors that assist us with hosting, databases, storage, security, communications, analytics, payment processing, customer support, and operation of the service.
Information may also be transmitted to Meta or WhatsApp when necessary to provide WhatsApp Business Platform functionality requested by the customer.
We may disclose information when required to comply with applicable law, legal process, court order, governmental request, fraud investigation, security incident, or to protect the rights and safety of Source IT Solution, our customers, or others.
Source IT Solution does not sell Meta Platform Data, WhatsApp Business Platform Data, or private WhatsApp conversation content.
6. Business Customer Responsibilities
Businesses using Source IT Engage are responsible for:
Obtaining legally required customer consent or another valid lawful basis before sending messages; complying with WhatsApp Business Messaging policies and Meta Platform Terms; maintaining appropriate customer opt-in records; honoring customer opt-out and deletion requests; keeping business contact lists accurate; and ensuring that messaging campaigns comply with applicable advertising, privacy, telecommunications, and consumer-protection laws.
Source IT Solution does not authorize customers to send spam or unsolicited communications.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain account and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and maintain platform security.
Retention periods may vary according to the type of information, account configuration, contractual requirements, business requirements, and applicable law.
When a customer terminates an account or submits an eligible deletion request, we will delete or anonymize applicable information in accordance with our retention processes and legal obligations.
Certain limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, taxation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are removed through normal backup-retention cycles.
8. Data Security
We use administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Our security measures may include encrypted network communications, restricted infrastructure access, password hashing, server-side credential management, role-based authorization, tenant isolation, security logging, database access controls, backups, and monitoring.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Businesses are also responsible for protecting their login credentials, devices, and authorized user accounts.
9. Meta Credentials and Access Tokens
Meta access credentials and authorization tokens are treated as confidential credentials.
Source IT Engage stores and processes such credentials only where required to provide authorized integrations.
Source IT Engage does not intentionally expose production Meta access tokens, App Secrets, passwords or other authentication credentials through public browser storage, customer-facing pages, administrative diagnostics, downloadable diagnostic exports or publicly accessible logs.
When an applicable WhatsApp Business connection is removed or an eligible account deletion request is completed, associated credentials may be revoked, removed, or rendered unusable according to the applicable integration process.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our public website may use cookies and similar technologies for necessary website functionality, security, preferences, analytics, and other purposes described through our cookie-consent mechanism.
Authenticated Source IT Engage applications may also use cookies or similar storage mechanisms necessary for authentication, security, session management, user preferences, and application functionality.
11. International Data Processing
Our customers, infrastructure providers, and technology providers may operate in different countries.
Where information is processed internationally, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, security, and organizational protections as required by applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability.
A business customer may also manage information stored in its Source IT Engage workspace.

Source IT Engage is intended primarily for businesses and authorized business users.
We do not knowingly provide Source IT Engage accounts directly to children where prohibited by applicable law.

15. Third-Party Platforms
Our services may integrate with third-party services including Meta, WhatsApp, hosting providers, payment providers, and other business applications.
Use of those services may also be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
